Sales Region: Mid-Atlantic
Job Description
Position Summary
Responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned region for all PharmaVigilant products and services (Tier 1-3 accounts).
Summary of essential job functions
- Coordinate information between clients and developers
- Arrange client visits and make presentations to demonstrate the software's capabilities
- Manage sales through forecasting, account strategy and planning
- Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close the sale
- Act as primary contact with clients until the study is handed over to the nominated Project Manager
- Attend conferences and other appropriate events, including making necessary arrangements and setting up booth and other associated work
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in life sciences, sales or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years experience, preferably in life science industry
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above
- Computer skills including MS Office Suite
- Must have the flexibility to travel
