Job Description

Position Summary

Application Engineers utilize Flash, JavaScript and SQL in the development and deployment of EDC systems for clincial trials. AE develops and deploys web based clinical trial system according to design specifications.

Summary of essential job functions

• Develop web-based forms by means of proprietary software, SQL and JavaScript.
• Coordinate information on development with Project Manager
• Develop SQL queries for analytical purposes
• Deploy and maintain client applications
• General database and server (windows) maintenance
• Work with Java Application Servers (OracleAS)

Desired Skills

• B.S. of Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience in object oriented programming
• Ability to read, write and debug programs written in SQL
• Experience writing basic JavaScript
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Experience with process oriented software development life cycles
